App Proposal

Tania and I are working together on the final project. Our end goal is to eventually submit our app to the app store.

Please review the details we have in regards to our upcoming app!

Purpose

Our goal for this project is to create an app for a niche market. Our app will allow users to learn more about artisanal cheeses. Where/how it’s produced, flavor notes, texture, pungency, where to purchase and more. The app will also allow users to rate, take notes and share specific cheeses of interest to friends and family.

Functions

We have curated data that will be used to run the app. Our cheese database has multiple access points. Our main feature is “Cheese Me.” By going through “Cheese Me” or our list of cheese you will be directed to a cheese profile. (Cheese Profile: Bottom left ; Cheese me: Bottom right.)

Along with this our app will allow the user to see a full list of their cheese notes. 

For the purpose of the final project these will be the functions that we plan on implementing.

However, if we are ahead of schedule we plan on adding additional information/suggestions such as cheese news or cheese board layouts. Along with this there will be a settings area where users can suggest new cheeses to be added to the database, and additional information on the team that worked on this project.

For the sake of completion of the final project we will be sourcing our images online. When the app is app store ready all images will be styled and photograph by us.
